Challenges Faced While Building the E-Commerce Website for iScreens

1. Creating the Website Without Specific Design References

While the client had a general vision for the website, they didn’t provide us with specific design references. Our challenge was to guide them through the design process and develop an online store that embodied the brand’s values and mission while guaranteeing a smooth and intuitive user interface.

2. Enabling easy addition of products to the Homepage

In addition to creating the website without specific references, allowing the admin to easily add the details and images of different iPhone and Apple watch screens to the homepage also posed a major challenge. We needed a system that was both flexible and intuitive, so the client could showcase different models as needed without disrupting the site’s design or performance.

3. Customizing the Shopify Theme to Meet Specific Requirements

Since we were using a third-party theme called Grippable for creating the website instead of a Shopify theme, it presented a significant challenge as it required extensive customization to align with the brand identity. We had to refine the layout and modify the visual elements to ensure the platform was aesthetically pleasing as well as user-friendly all while preserving fast load times across all devices.

4. Integrating and Customizing the Judge.me app for Product Reviews

One of the major technical challenges was integrating the judge.me app for product reviews and customizing it to fit seamlessly with the website’s design and functionality.
