Due to the lack of pre-existing vision, references, or materials, Dime Trading Corp faced significant challenges in developing a multi-brand eCommerce platform capable of showcasing 15 distinct toy brands. Their goal was to merge all 15 distinct brand websites into a single platform that offers a robust, user-friendly interface where customers can explore and shop for products of different brands. In addition to that, they wanted to ensure that the platform still remains cost-effective, scalable, and easy to manage. Organizing a large inventory, creating dedicated brand pages, and integrating a dual fulfillment system posed additional complexities.

Challenges and Solutions

1. Clear Concept Development and Creative Design

Although the client didn’t provide pre-existing materials or a clear vision, our team saw this as an opportunity to fully shape and define the project. An intuitive design concept was developed in a collaborative manner with the client, where graphics, layout, and navigation were created specifically for this site and are consistent with the overall brand strategy..

2. Dedicated Brand Pages

Each of the 15 brands required unique pages with custom headers, dedicated contact pages, and separate collection sections. We integrated and merged all the features and functions of all 15 websites into the main website by designing as well as developing the codes for these websites.

3. Bulk Product Import and Organization

We imported a large inventory of products from Amazon and categorized them by brand for efficient data management. This allowed easy navigation and ensured smooth inventory handling. Additionally, it gave the client a very well-ordered platform for smooth backend issues, thus offering a one-stop shop where adjustments could be made efficiently and without delay.

4. Dual Fulfillment System

The efforts of our experienced Shopify developers’ team were aimed a managing all of the orders created and fulfilled through both Shopify and Amazon platforms, to keep the shopping and delivery process as smooth for the customers as possible. This double check system eliminated manpower errors and enhance over all efficiency in handling the orders. Additionally, it allowed the client to seamlessly handle a large volume of orders while maintaining high service standards.

Our shopify developers’s team created and developed all the visuals and graphics from scratch, making sure that the website remains professionally aesthetically pleasing and cohesive at the same time. Each design element was tailored to resonate with the toy brands’ vibrant and playful themes while maintaining a polished and professional online presence that appeals to a diverse audience.

We developed separate one-page sites for every brand out of 15, with distinctive headers, contact us forms, and product galleries for every brand. It was conceived that these pages would not only give each brand its unique identity symbol to make every customer’s shopping experience unique for every landing, but they also serve as a structured format to display the extensive range of products offered everywhere.

For a better flow of inventory, we imported products from Amazon in mass and kept all the brands of products separate. We ensured that the dual fulfillment system allows users to run efficient order fulfillment through both Amazon and Shopify while at the same time improving the shopping experience for the customers.
