Challenges Faced During the Development of the Shopify Store

1. Selecting the Right Shopify Theme with Built-In Functionalities

One of the major challenges that we faced during the Shopify website development process was reducing the dependency on external apps and cutting down additional Shopify website development costs.

Although the client had provided a Figma design, our team had to navigate the challenges that arose with preserving the layout. Since integrating third-party apps would have led to changes in the design, our team had to custom-code several functionalities to ensure that the final website maintained visual consistency.

3. Streamlining Confusion in Product Identification by Creating a Custom Questionnaire

For customers to effortlessly find the mattress that suits them best, the client wanted us to implement a custom survey. The major challenge was properly aligning the relevant questions and finalizing the page sequences in the most sensible way possible to provide a streamlined experience for the users.

Our development team evaluated the various Shopify themes that were available and carefully selected the “Ecomus” theme as it aligned closely with the project’s requirements. In addition to that, we also customized the theme so that it was on par with the provided Figma design.

Our team also worked on integrating and customizing an AI-powered chatbot through the Shopify app, “Inbox,” which helped the client effortlessly automate and enable 24/7 communication with users.
