  • Press the Windows + I keys on your keyboard. 
  • Your system setting will appear on the screen. Click the Sound option.

        2.1 – Reset your audio driver

  • Press the Windows + X keys on the keyboard and select Device Manager.

On restarting, it will most likely fix your audio issue. However, if you need to reinstall the driver, open Device manager and click the Scan hardware changes. Your audio adapter will be automatically recognized and added to your device manager. 

        2.2 – Roll Back the audio driver

  • Click the Windows + X keys on the keyboard and select Device Manager. 
  • Double-click the Sound, video, and game controllers.
  • Click the desired audio adapter facing the issue. 
  • A popup window will appear on the screen. Click the Drive tab on the audio adapter box. 
  • Click the Roll Back Driver button.

Step 3: Restart Windows audio services

  • Windows Audio Endpoint Builder
  • Remote Procedure Call (RPC)

  • Press the Windows key on your keyboard.
